Phyllis G. Thompson, 87, of Urbana, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Phyllis was born January 31, 1934 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of the late William and Nellie (Ganson) Reames. She was a member of the Caroline Chapter #39 O.E.S. where she served as the past Grand Matron in 1989. Phyllis enjoyed crafts, playing cards by her own rules, and pictures.

Phyllis is survived by her children, Deborah (David) Millner and Michael (Kimberly "Kim" Chartier) Thompson; grandchildren, Jeremy & Shad Thompson and Josh & Jacob Schade; great grandchildren, Valon & Severin Zanish; step grandchildren, Carol (Ludin) Rodriguez and Nickolas (Lisa) Chartier; step great grandchildren, Nick Chartier, Sebastian "Bash, Belicia, Lillia, Solana and Adamina Rodriguez as well as several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Philip Thompson; siblings, Daniel, David, George & Donald Reames, Audra (Roby) Pettit and Edna (Frank) McDonald.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio. Eastern Star service will begin at 11:00 a.m with the Funeral service following in the funeral home with Steve Sisco officiating.

The family requests face masks be worn for everybody's safety.

Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Fairview Cemetery, West Liberty, Ohio.

Mike and Debbie and families, So sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Dugan Rd is losing the generation of parents that we all knew when growing up there. That is a beautiful picture of her.
