Phyllis Ann (Moore) Richendollar, 75, of Urbana, Ohio, passed away following a long battle with
cancer on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 4:49 p.m. in her residence, surrounded by family. She
was diagnosed with a terminal cancer in November 2009.


She was born February 16, 1935, in Concord Township, Ohio, to Andrew J. and Isabelle Moore.


Phyllis was a member of the Mechanicsburg Freewill Baptist Church and owner of Phil’s Market
(the Cable Mall).


She married Lester Richendollar on Jan 18, 1957 and the two had a special wedding September 22,
2010.


Bluegrass and gospel music were her favorite, she especially enjoyed listening to the bands
Blackdiamond, the Mule Skinner Band and singer Jeff Wynn.


She enjoyed attending sporting events for all her grandchildren and spending time with her
family during holiday functions and get-togethers. She also enjoyed watching her son and
daughter-in-law Richard and Sue Timmons in the garden. She was an avid player of the card game
Golf where she especially enjoyed beating her son-in-law Bob Ratcliff. A particular joy was
traveling to McAuley Center, Heartland, the Masonic Home and Fountain Park Nursing Home for
karaoke.


Phyllis and Lester took several, regular leisure trips just for the enjoyment of traveling. A
favorite location was the C.J. Brown Reservoir. While having no particular interest in fishing,
she participated in many fishing trips with Lester to Kizer Lake.


She is survived by brothers Gerald Moore, of Cable, Ohio, Thomas Moore, of Milford Center,
Ohio, and a sister Beverly Eickemyer, of Whiteside, Tennesse; sons, Richard (Sue) Timmons, of
Milford Center, Ohio, and Tony (Debby) Richendollar, of Greenfield, Missouri; daughters Carol
Watts, of Urbana, Ohio, Lisa (Bob) Ratlciff, of Urbana, Ohio, and Kim (Kevin) Clark, of
Springfield, Ohio; a son-in-law Charles Watts, of Urbana, Ohio; special nephews Gene
(Charlotte) Eulrich, of West Mansfield, Ohio and Stevie (Lisa) Hamblin, of Covington, Kentucky;
grandchildren Karen (Robert) Stidham, Krista (Stephen) Fannin, Kelsey (Isaac Cooper) Timmons,
Haley (Shaun) Dunlap, Clarissa Watts, Daniel Comer, Matthew Comer, Caleb (Kaitlyn) Clark, Mason
Clark, Silas Clark, Chad Boyd and Jeremy Boyd, Lisa (Brian) Roth, Joseph (Amy) Ratcliff, Matt
Ratcliff and Michael (Dee) Ratcliff; great-grandchildren Taylor Stidham, Logan Stidham, Bradey
Fannin, Jordan Boyd, Alex Boyd, Jordan Boyd, Isaac Cantrell, and one more on the way; and
several nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law Everett and Lillian Richendollar, a
son Terry Richendollar, a granddaughter Heidi Smith , a step-granddaughter Shelby Watts and a
step-grandson Rick Ratcliff.


The family will receive visitors for the viewing on Tuesday, November, 16, 2010 from 5-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Jessie Walters
presiding. Burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, Urbana. Services are being provided by
VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana.


The family would like to give a special thanks to the OSU James Center Cancer Hospital,
Alternate Solution HomeCare and Community Mecry Hospice for the care and assistance given at
the end of Phyllis’s life.


She was greatly loved by her family and will be sadly missed.
