Pierce E. ”Bud” Trimble, 56 of Urbana, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 13, 1956 in Red Bush, Kentucky.
Bud loved to work on cars; he was a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed fishing, especially with his sons and his dog, Bear.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Phyllis L. (Cantrell) Trimble, his daughter, Gracie (Roman) Gabriel of Springfield, his sons, Daniel (Tonie) Trimble of Urbana, Jason (Torrie Shaw) Trimble of Springfield, Kenny (Tammy) Trimble of Springfield, Joseph (Nicki) Trimble Urbana and James Trimble of Kettering, 19 grandchildren; his sisters, Darcus (Larry) Manion of South Charleston, Amy (John) Miller of Xenia, Marlene (Mark) Hall of Piqua, Ida (Arlen) Burkhard of Springfield and Naomi (Randy) Babb of New York, his brothers, Tony (Lisa) Trimble of Springfield, Larry (Bonnie) Trimble of Bloomville and Joseph Trimble of Dayton, numerous nieces and nephews.
Bud is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Gracie (Burchett) Trimble and a brother, Danny Trimble.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, 235 Miami St., Urbana, Ohio 43078. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 in the funeral home with Pastor Helen McKenzie officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park, Springfield, Ohio.
