Rhonda Lynn Zornes, 51 of Mechanicsburg, passed away, Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She went peacefully to meet her dad and sisters in heaven and she is now pain free. She was born April 18, 1964 in Columbus, Ohio and was a 1982 graduate of Jonathon Alder High School. Rhonda loved spending time outdoors; riding motorcycle (Harley Davison) in the countryside, traveling, boating on the lake, camping; especially, the smell of campfire wood burning and cooking hotdogs and smores over the fire. She enjoyed shopping and you could not keep her out of the casino especially Wheeling Island, Wheelersburg, WVA. Her favorite time of the year was fall and at that time she would camp at Deer Creek State park for the Halloween party every year. Her Favorite animal was the lion and she had a large collection of them; Along with snowmen as well; the Last one she got a few weeks ago was from her brother, Charlie. A special time for Rhonda, was playing Miss Santa Clause with her husband as Santa. Rhonda loved her family. Whether, she was having a special dinner with her sister or listening to her brother sing in his band or just spending time with her grandkids and taking them different places. She enjoyed making all the kids birthday cakes, wedding cakes and special event cakes etc. or making scrapbooks for all the grandkids. She loved spending time with all her relatives especially at reunion time in Fort Gay W. VA. She had a very special friend, like a sister to her, Jodi Lamb and all of Jodi’s kids were like her own kids.
Anyone invited in her home was treated like family. She was a very friendly and lovable person; she would give her shirt off her back if someone needed it. She had a lot of friends and she will be missed by all of them. She is survived by her husband, John M. Zornes, her mother, Betty Jane Snyder, her children, Tiffany Lynn Biggum and John Russell Zornes (fiancee, Robin Cantrell), grandchildren, James G., John Jr., Preston M., Abigail L., Logan A., Alisha, Ethan, Haylee and Jayleigh; her brothers, Charlie L.
