Please accept my sincerest condolences. The death of a loved one is one of the most devastating experiences a human can face. Although words can not ease the pain, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the God of love, Jehovah, be with you and comfort you in the days ahead (1 John 4:8; Psalm 83:18). Soon there will come a day where God “will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces…for Jehovah himself has spoken it.” (Isaiah 25:8) In the meantime may you find comfort in God’s Word and the hope of a resurrection during these difficult times. “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18; John 5:28, 29) If you would like to know more about Jehovah God’s promises I encourage you to visit www.jw.org. May you benefit from the spiritual food provided.
Steve and Betsy – I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers and best wishes go out to you.
