April 21, 1932 - October 6, 2015
Ross D. Morgan, 83, of Urbana, Ohio left this earth on October 6, 2015 to join his beloved grandson in the Kingdom of Heaven. Ross was born April 21, 1932 in Prestonburg, Kentucky, the son of the late William and Eunice (Stanley) Morgan.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Norma Jean (Parker) Morgan; his daughter, Kathy Tullis, and his son Jeffery (Lori ) Morgan;
his 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and his siblings, Vivian Childers, John Morgan and Jim Morgan.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Jack Morgan; and his sister, Blanche Vaught.
Ross proudly served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He had worked at Cooper Cameron Machine in Springfield as a machine repairman. He attended the Church of the Nazarene. Ross was a wonderful man that experienced many things in his life. He had many interests that included his love of all things nature to wood working. In his lifetime he had made many wonderful friends. He had a loving family that will forever miss him. Even though our hearts are heavy with sadness we will find solace in knowing that Ross lived a full rich life. We know that we will all be together again. The family would like to thank the staff at Crossroads Hospice for all their love and care during such a difficult time.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, October 9, 2015 in the funeral home
with Pastor Gary Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, St. Paris.

Norma, Kathy and Jeff so very sorry to hear of Tot’s passing. His obituary was written with such love and understanding, seeing him again someday and he is with loved ones gone before him. I know you all have such heavy hearts today, but you also has the knowledge he is surrounded with love up in heaven and that will help you through the difficult days ahead.
