Tadd A. Spors, 61 of Cable, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 6, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born August 24, 1959 in Black River Falls, Wisconsin the son of Allen (Irene) and Ione (Salomonsen) Spors. Tadd was the owner and operator of Surveillance Solutions. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1215 and the Wednesday Night golf league at Woodland Golf Course.

Tadd excelled at anything he put his mind to. He was a hard worker who took meticulous care of the family home in which he and Laurie raised their sons. Anyone who came to the house always commented on the professional landscaped property which Tadd did all himself. The group recently included the wonderful hospice care team who gave Tadd his wish to spend his final days at the home in which he took such pride.

Tadd was a fierce competitor to any game or sport he participated in. He taught anyone who agreed to play against him in pool, ping pong, golf, darts, Jenga or horseshoes how to be a good loser.

He never left an amusement park or fair without winning a large stuffed animal for a family member. His many hog roast parties were legendary, as was the amount of Wisconsin beers consumed. We will certainly miss the professional grade firework displays he held over the years. Knowing Tadd, he is already scouting out a perfect setting in which to begin work on a new and improved heavenly home. We look forward to the day we all will rejoin him as we too, someday cross over into the perfect world. What a party that will be!

Tadd is survived by his wife, Laurie (Shepler) Spors; his parents, Allen and Irene Spors; his sons, Zachariah and Jared Spors; brothers, Paul, Thumper "Al", Michael and Mark (Stacy) Spors as well as 15 nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ione; paternal grandparents, Paul & Iva Spors and maternal grandparents, Vilas & Marcella Salomonsen.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 1-5 p.m. on June 12, 2021 in the family home, 6102 Cable Road, Cable, Ohio 43009.

Memorial contributions may be made to Project Woman, 525 E. Home Road, Springfield, Ohio 45503 or to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign & Logan Counties,
31 North Sycamore Street, Springfield, OH 45503

Arrangements entrusted to VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio.
