Thomas Dale Dunn, 55, of Milford Center, previously of Joliet, IL, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2010 in The Convalarium in Dublin. He was born March 22, 1954 in Springfield, Ohio.
He was a 1972 graduate of Triad High School. Thomas served his country in the United States Army in the 82nd Airborne, Special Forces Red Beret. He enjoyed skydiving, bowling, golf and he was an avid sports fan. His lifelong trade was locksmithing and he was a member of the American Legion in Joliet, IL.
Thomas is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Brentlinger of Urbana; his father, Ron (Sharon) Brentlinger of DeGraff; brother, Joe (Beth) Brentlinger of Milford Center; sister, Christine (Alan) Tussing of Milford Center; his lifelong friend, Ned (Marsha) Bailey of West Liberty; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Theresa Couch and his brother-in-law, Dennis Stevenson.
A Memorial Gathering will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in the North Lewisburg Municipal Building.
Following Thomas’ wishes, his body will be cremated. His cremated remains will be buried at the Dayton National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation, Heartland Division, 921 E. 86th St. Suite 150, Indianapolis, IN 46240, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
