Dearest Aunt Annie, Kathy, Karen, and Kris,
I cannot express to you how sorry I am. When I think of Uncle Ned I remember a smiling gentle man - I cannot ever remember him being cross. I loved his laugh, and I loved that he called me Natty Kay. I hope that your memories will comfort you as you think on this man who lived and loved so well.

David and I are so very sorry for your loss. Karen is such a dear friend of mine and I know how hard this illness has been on all of you. I know how much your Father meant and what a wonderful person he was. I also extend my heartfelt sympathies to Annie and pray that God gives her the strength she will need to get through this difficult time. I pray that all of you can find that strength but know that you are all loved by many and we will be there for you. He is no longer suffering and is at peace with God. Bless you all.
