Timothy Lowell Coleman, 56 of Urbana passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2017 in Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine, Ohio.
He was born March 25, 1961 in Urbana, Ohio. Timothy was a 1979 graduate of Urbana High School and was employed with KTH, St. Paris for 31 years. Timothy loved to read about civil war and history. He enjoyed fishing, writing poems and especially teasing his nieces and nephews. Timothy was a kind, thoughtful, giving man who dreamed of having a farm with chickens, ducks, cats and dogs.
Timothy is survived by his mother, Carolyn S. (Moody) Cox; brothers, Jerry Alan Coleman and Steven Scott Coleman, sister, Cindy Sue (Cox) Lockwood and nieces and nephews, Addy Shedd, Cassidy Coleman, Katie Coleman, Ben Coleman, Jake Lockwood, Meghan Snowball, Erika Michael and Zack Michael.
He was preceded in death by his step dad, Leonard “Buddy” Carel Cox, his father, James L. Coleman, maternal grandparents, Harry and Irene Moody, paternal grandparents, Gladys Hammond, James William Coleman, step grandmother, Irene Weatherhead and nephew Jeremy Coleman.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 1, 2017 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana with Pastor Tony Pena officiating. Family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery.

I want send my deepest condolences on the loss of Timmy. I have had the pleasure of knowing Timmy for almost 30 years. And in that time Timmy when from being a coworker to being a part of my kth family. He was always smiling and joking everytime we saw each other at. He will always be remembered for his sense of humour with me. May you rest in peace love you brother
I am so sorry to hear about Timmy. He was a great friend in High School and Tim was even in my Wedding in April 1980.
