Virginia M. “Ginny” Boldman, 76, of Cable, went to be with the Lord Friday, July 29, 2011 in Heartland of Urbana following a lengthy illness.


She was born December 1, 1934 in Bidwell, OH the daughter of Stanley and Gladys (Lane) Glassburn.


Ginny retired from W.B. Marvin’s after 35 years of service. After retirement, she ran a daycare out of her home. Ginny was formerly active in the Cable House of Prayer, serving as treasurer and also as a Sunday school teacher. She was a former member of the Mother’s Memorial Circle of Mechanicsburg. Ginny loved attending Gospel Music Festivals, going camping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.


She is survived by her husband and best friend of nearly 59 years, Robert Boldman, son, Darrell (Marlene) Boldman of Columbus; grandchildren, Tyson (Savanah) Mosbarger of Alabama, Bradley Mosbarger of Texas, Jennifer (Ryan) Horton of Florida, Ashley (Micah) Boldman of Springfield, Kylee Mosbarger of Urbana, Sarah Dearwester of Urbana, Aaron Gibson of Marblehead, OH, Shelly (Bill) Moore of Arizona; great grandchildren, Taylor, Skylar, Owen, Ella, Grace, Samantha, Taya, Owen J. and Isaac; sisters, Lola (Fred) Martin and Jeanie (Bill) Tullis both of Urbana; brothers, Earl Glassburn of Newark, Ted (Barbara) Glassburn of Porter, OH, Roger (Carol) Glassburn of Bidwell and Marty (Rhonda) Glassburn of Jackson, OH; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


Ginny is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lorri Horsley; sisters, Mary Smith and Elizabeth Messick; brother, Donald Glassburn.


A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, August 1, 2011 in the FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON Funeral Home, North Lewisburg. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Garland Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Jenkins Chapel Cemetery.
