Walter Junior Russell, 58, of London, passed away peacefully Monday morning, March 21,2016 at his home in London . Walter was born in Madison County October 10, 1957 .
He is preceded in death by his Father Norman (Doc) Weaver Russell and Brother-in law Richard Anderson and a close family friend Oney Joseph.
Walter enjoyed working for Intelligated Industries for several years in London, Ohio. Walter, better known as (Walt) by family and friends, was in failing health for the last several years, and is survived by his mother Emma (Hatfield) Russell of Tenn. His brothers; Marvin Russell of London, Donald ( Miriam) Russell of Tenn., Bruce (Shelia) Russell of Irwin , and sisters, Virginia (Donald) Hanna of Tenn., Sandy Anderson of London, Andrea (Jack) Brown of London, Angela (Charles) Smiddy of Mechanicsburg, Cheryl ( John) Crager of Plain City. and special friends Debbie & Marvin Nelson ,Virginia Hudson, Sue Propst, Paul Lewis ,David Fraley and many nieces and nephews and friends that were all dear to his heart.
Walt had a very loving and giving heart for all that knew him. He loved to collect Matchbox cars, knifes and coins. He loved to watch Nascar Racing and His Favorite NFL Team the Denver Broncos and he got to watch the Bronco’s WIN the Super Bowl this year! He would be glued to the TV whenever either was on, actually whenever any kind of racing was on he would be glued to the TV he loved watching and commenting on just about everything. He loved to draw, Rock and Roll music and he liked to play it loud.The louder the better :, Hot Rods, animals and anything that had to do with Nature , he loved to travel and see the world, and loved to look into the night sky at the consolations and wonder.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 1:00 p.m. and the Family requests that you please join the them from 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26TH2016 in the SKILLMAN, MCDONALD and VERNON funeral home, Mechanicsburg, Ohio to celebrate Walter’s Journey home with the LORD .
