William H. "Jack" "Beetle" Bailey, 73, of North Lewisburg, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 in Memorial Hospital, Marysville, Ohio.
Jack was born August 25, 1948 in Allen, Kentucky the son of the late Frank Sr. and Edna (Adkins) Bailey. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 28 years serving in Vietnam, Desert Storm and Desert Shield retiring as a Master Gunnery Sergeant. After retirement, Jack continued serving his country as a civil servant. After many years of service to his country he retired to a life of boats and bass fishing. Jack would do anything for anybody, was fun loving, incredibly funny and will be greatly missed forever.
Jack is survived by his daughters, Tabatha Rossel and Johanna Bailey; Life Partner Sharon Maxam; grandchildren, Marshall, Dillion, Evan, Jorden, Michael, Shannon and C.J.; great grandchildren, Kevin, Elizabeth and Nathan; siblings, Frank (Joanne) Bailey Jr., Claude "Tony" (Sylvia) Bailey, Wanda Andrews, Kathy (Joe) Rutledge, Patty (David) Box and Peggy (Isaac) Fletcher; brothers-in-law, James White, Luther "Zeke" Norris, John Norris, Charles Norris, Thomas "Tomcat" Norris; sisters-in-law, Judy Norris, and Nancy Thompson; first wife and mother of his children, Elizabeth Davis; Sharon's parents, Delores and Sherman Watkins; her children, Dawn VanErp, Kevin (Audrey) Maxam; her grandchildren, Tessie, Dalton, Destinee and Tru, great grandchildren, Bentley, Izzy, Oakley and Laynee; her sister, Linda Carter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews who adored him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Edna; sister, Faye White and brothers-in-law, Jerry Andrews, Marshall Norris, Marion "Slo Mo" Norris, Richard Norris; sisters-in-law, Clara "Pus" Norris and Dorothy Norris; Sharon's brother-in-law, Steve Carter.
Per Beetle's wishes, there will be no services. In the future, his cremated remains will be returned to his Sneads Ferry, North Carolina home.
