I live in Delaware county, not far from where the accident occurred. I did not know Zach, but when I saw the picture of his family I was deeply, deeply saddened. What a beautiful family! I do a lot of walking, and walk by his memorial quite often. Each time, I say a prayer for him; I try to do this when passing memorials and cemeteries. It's something we all could do. I'm sure Zach is at peace, but I know the pain is great. May the Lord bless all of you during this difficult time.

I do not know this young man or you, his family. I grew up in Urbana and have the experience of losing my sister in an accident at age 21 many years ago. I am so sorry to hear of this horrible tragedy that you are experiencing. May God give you strength for every minute of every day.

I grew up in Mechanicsburg but moved away many years ago. I still read the news and keep in touch with a few friends. Your husband's death touched me because I lost my 32 year old son in a motorcycle accident 5 years ago. We prepare ourselves for the death of our parents, but never for the death of a young spouse or child. I am so sorry about your loss, and will think of you during this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with Zach over the last couple years. He spent the first couple years at the OECC plant before working at the Lower Scioto plant. I remember many good times with Zach. He was a great person who excelled at whatever he did. You could count on Zach to get his work done and make us all laugh. I cannot remember a time when Zach was in a bad mood. He may have been but he never showed it. He treated people with respect. Zack loved his wife and kids as he always mentioned them. I pray to God to give the family strength and to watch over the family during this difficult time. A good man is gone but not forgotten.

Zach was such a great young man. I had the pleasure of working with him out at LS for a while at the county. We had some really good times and a lot of laughs. I learned a lot from Zach, not only job related, but in everyday life. I admired his attitude and outlook on life, and the way he respected and treated people. He loved his family dearly and I’ll truly miss him. I didn’t know Zach for a real long time...but it feels like I did because of the kind of guy he was. May you Rest In Peace buddy and my family sends our sincerest condolences to Zach’s family and friends. I’ll never forget the guy...
